Why do we do product reviews?  Well, to help all Not Supermoms, like me, find the best toys, gadgets, household products, family friendly items and a whole lot more without having to do a ton of leg work.

When I was working full time, commuting into NYC everyday, trying to raise two kids and keep my marriage going strong while remembering that there was only one diaper left, we desperately needed toilet paper and I needed to make a doctor’s appointment to have my daughter’s strange rash looked at….the last thing I needed and wanted to be doing was research on products so I could buy the best for my family.  I did though.  I ended up staying up half the night to search the internet for reviews on car seats, humidifiers, educational toys, air conditioners and more.  It drove me nuts – but eventually I would figure out which one got the most positive reviews and I’d buy it.

We are always looking for the newest and best products and services on the market that will make life easier for busy Moms and Dads by saving them time and money.  We also love to check out games, books and educational toys for kids, eco-friendly and organic products, kitchen/home gadgets and more.  We select products, services and companies that, we feel, will appeal to our audience.  If a company has sent us a product to check out – we will tell you.  If we have been compensated in some way to check out a product or try out a service – we will tell you.  We will ALWAYS give you our honest opinion and NEVER let it be influenced by anyone or anything.  We won’t review a product if it doesn’t meet our standards and we don’t believe in it 100%.  Products become property of Not Supermom and will not be returned.

I will personally try out every product that we choose to review and when appropriate my 8 year old daughter and 5 year old son will give their two cents as well!  We may do a video review or a written review with photos.
